Materials: 100g of sock yarn and corresponding double-pointed OR 40" circular needles required.
An introduction to sock knitting for advanced beginners. Understanding of the knit and purl stitches, basic decreases (K2tog & SSK), casting on, binding off, and knitting in the round recommended. This class will focus on how to turn a heel, as well as understanding sock patterns.
Registration:
Please register in-store, on our website (www.needlesinthehay.ca) or by phone at 705-740-0667. We require payment in full at the time of registration in order to reserve your spot. Classes must have at least 3 participants to run. If a class does not have the minimum number of participants, we will notify you in advance and give you a full refund or the option to enroll in another class of equal value.
We are often closed right before the class begins. Please do not arrive any more than 5 or 10 ten minutes before the start time of the class. Out of respect for your instructor and classmates, we ask that you arrive on time. If supplies are not included in your class registration fee, please visit us in advance to purchase your supplies or bring them from your stash so that the class may begin on time.
Cancellations:
If you need to cancel your registration, please provide at least 5 days notice before the start date of the class and we will provide you with a store credit for the value of the class. Cancellations made with less than 5 days notice are non-refundable.
Missed Classes:
We are unable to provide any credit, refunds or make-up dates for missed classes.
