In this four hour beginner class, Michelle Chesson of Roving Textiles will guide you through techniques, patterns, and tricks to begin your very first weave or take your weaving techniques to the next level. Take inspiration from physical examples and books to imagine and create a beautiful wall hanging.
In addition to all your newfound expertise, you will walk away with your very own wooden loom, handmade my Michelle's father and valued at $105!
All looms and tools are made from maple, designed by Michelle, and individually handcrafted by her father Paul right here in Ontario.
The four hours probably isn’t quite enough time to complete your piece, but by the end of the class you will feel comfortable weaving away at home on your new loom!
All supplies will be provided for you.
