The Kawartha World Issues Centre invites members & friends to its 27th Annual General Meeting on Thursday, January 19th, 2017.

The evening program takes place in the Hobbs Library at Sadleir House (751 George Street), with an appreciation gathering at 6:30pm, followed by AGM Business and an evening conversation on RADICAL LOVE for Radical Times, from 7:30-8:30pm with special guests local spoken word artist, Fraser McDonald, educator, Nicole Bell and Sherry Telford from the Chiapas Education Project. 

RADICAL LOVE was conceptualized by the late Brazilian educator and philosopher, Paulo Freire, who is perhaps best known for his work in critical pedagogy and the Popular Education movement, also know as 'education for change'.
