Spring Night for CMHA HKPR’s REACH for Recovery Program

The Canadian Mental Health Association Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge (CMHA HKPR) is pleased to announce and welcome you to the City of Kawartha Lakes Spring Café Night, in support of REACH for Recovery. The Café Night will take place Thursday, April 21st from 5:30-8:00 p.m. at St. Pauls Anglican Church, 45 Russell Street, Lindsay.

REACH stands for Recovery Empowerment Advocacy Community and Hope. REACH is a Lindsay based program of the Canadian Mental Health Association of HKPR that provides services to individuals living with mental health concerns or other significant challenges. The REACH Program can assist the person in gaining the skills necessary to be participating members of their home and community.

The Spring Café Night will include a variety of talent performances such as music, poetry and personal story telling, all with a focus to reduce the stigma attached to living with a mental illness. The cost to attend the event is $2 per person or pay as you are ableand is open to anyone who wishes to attend. A silent auction and bake sale will also be held. Proceeds from this event will be used to maintain and enhance REACH for Recovery programming.
