The Arkells 'At Your Service' Tour Ends at the Peterborough Memorial Centre For Nov. 11

Canadian band The Arkells are set to rock the Peterborough Memorial Centre on Nov. 11, announced on Tuesday.

The Peterborough stop is the last leg of their ‘At Your Service’ tour running from Sept. 29 to Oct 22. It was added as part of three Canadian shows which included Guelph and St. Catherine’s.

“It’s been four long years since we’ve played these towns,” says frontman Max Kerman. “We’ve had amazing memories in Guelph, St. Catharines and Peterborough and it’s because of the real, longstanding relationships we have with these places. We started playing ‘em in tiny bars, and now we’re playing in the hockey barns.”

Two-time Grammy-nominated artist K.Flay is opening for the band for the performance.

Tickets for the nine-time JUNO Award winners go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m., with fan pre-sales on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

FMX World Tour Comes to the Peterborough Memorial Centre For Oct. 23

The Peterborough Memorial Centre is getting extreme as they are hosting the FMX World Tour on Oct. 23 at 7:30 p.m. announced on Tuesday.

The FMX World Tour is an extreme action sport competition that was formed to tour, USA, Canada, Mexico and select European countries.

Pro riders are competing by throwing out death-defying tricks ever seen. Competitions include Best Trick, Dualing Duos, Team Competitions and Head-to-Head Backflip Competitions.

All FMX WORLD TOUR fans will receive free pit passes with advance ticket purchases. Those fans are invited to come on the floor and meet the stars.

Rappers Nelly and Sean Kingston Hitting the Peterborough Memorial Centre Stage For Oct. 6

Two of America’s biggest rappers are taking to the Peterborough Memorial Centre stage as rappers Nelly and Sean Kingston will be performing in town for Oct. 6, announced on Monday.

Nelly has received 12 Grammy Award nominations and has won 30 other awards during his musical career. Nelly is bringing several of his hits such as “Hot in Herre”, “Ride wit Me”, “Country Grammar”, “Just a Dream” and more.

Sean Kingston is no stranger to the top of the charts with featured songs like “Fire Burning”, “Beautiful Girls” and “Take You There.”

Canadian Hip Hop star Peter Jackson making a special guest appearance as he returns to the PMC in over four years.

Pink Floyd Tribute Band 'Brit Floyd' To Rock the Peterborough Memorial Centre For Oct. 25

It is another brick in the wall as the spirit of Pink Floyd continues as tribute band Brit Floyd is performing at the Peterborough Centre for Oct. 25, announced on Tuesday.

The band is performing a brand-new production celebrating 50 years of the famed album The Dark Side of the Moon. The gig features classic tracks from the album such as Time, Money, Us and Them and The Great Gig in the Sky.

The set list also includes other highlights from Pink Floyd’s magnificent catalogue of albums including tracks from The Wall, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Division Bell, Medal and more.

Brit Floyd has performed over 1,000 shows since its launch in Liverpool, England in January 2011. They have sold out tours across, Europe, North America, South America and the Middle East. They have performed concerts at some fo the world’s most notable venus such as the London's prestigious Royal Albert Hall; the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, Col.; the historic Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and 'The Showplace of the Nation', NYC's Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan.

MRG Live is bringing Euro-Disco group Boney M featuring original lead singer Liz Mitchell back to Canada to celebrate 45 years since their debut record Nightflight was released; coming to the Peterborough Memorial Centre Dec. 9.

The Glorious Sons Announce North American Dates For The Glory Tour; Coming to the Peterborough Memorial Centre February 16

Following the release of their new single ‘Mercy Mercy’ The Glorious Sons have announced the Glory Tour, coming to the Peterborough Memorial Centre February 16.

The rock band from Kingston, Ontario have garnered critical acclaim and commercial success off their previous albums, earning them multiple JUNO Awards, sold-out tours and a dedicated global fanbase. ‘Mercy Mercy’ is said to mark the next milestone in the band’s career and serves as the first track off their fourth studio album ‘Glory’ which is due out this fall.

Beginning September 6 in Pittsburgh, PA, the North American run of the tour will visit 57-cities in both the U.S. and Canada, making stops in Nashville, Boston, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Edmonton, Calgary, Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa and more before wrapping in St. Catharines on February 17, 2024. The Glory Tour will feature special guests The Blue Stones and the Velveteers on select dates, and a special hometown show will have the band ringing the New Year at Kingston’s Leon’s Centre on December 31.

They have three dates as part of the 2024 leg of the tour, with Peterborough as the second-last stop.

Comedian John Crist to Perform at the Peterborough Memorial Centre On Sept. 22

Comedian and Internet phenomenon John Crist is headed to the Peterborough Memorial Centre as part of his 2023 Emotional Support Tour, announced on Tuesday.

Crist has more than one billion video views, over five million fans on social media and has sold-out shows from coast to coast. There was growing demand so 33 shows were added in the fall and winter according to a press release.

JUNO Award-Winning Artist Amanda Marshall Performing at the PMC on June 14

Diamond-selling and multi-JUNO Award-nominated singer-songwriter Amanda Marshall is set to perform at the Peterborough Memorial Centre on June 14, announced on Monday.

The performance is part of her ‘25 & Counting: The Heavy Lifting Tour’ with Peterborough as her third stop. It features Marshall’s new song collection entitled ‘Heavy Lifting’ being released this summer, with the first single ‘I Hope She Cheats’ being released this Friday on all streaming services.

The Great Benjamins Circus Performing at Peterborough Memorial Centre For One-Day Only on April 29

Gravity-defying and high-flying acts of The Great Benjamins Circus are coming to the Peterborough Memorial Centre for a one-day-only performance on April 29 at 4:30 p.m. announced on Tuesday.

John and Jairo Davenport are third-generation circus performers that created the Great Benjamins Circus.

Acts such as clowns, acrobats, aerialists and daredevils from all over the world will entertain the audience of all ages during their 90-minute show.

'Peppa Pig's Adventure' Musical to Hit the Peterborough Memorial Centre on July 25

A live musical of ‘Peppa Pig’s Adventure’ is hitting the Peterborough Memorial Centre (PMC) on July 25, announced on Monday.

The performance is about Peppa Pig going on an exciting camping trip in the woods with George and her school friends, including Pedro Pony, Suzy Sheep and Gerald Giraffe. Lunchboxes are packed and Daddy Pig is driving the bus, Peppa and her friends are excited about their outdoor adventures, full of singing, dancing, games and surprises. 

After the show, the Peppa Pig's Adventure Photo Experience is available for ticketholders to ‘jump in a mud puddle’ alongside Peppa Pig & Friends. Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Tickets go on sale on March 17 at 10 a.m. with presales beginning Tuesday at 10 a.m. exclusively online. PMC Scoop members can purchase tickets starting Tuesday, at 10 a.m. to March 16 at 10 p.m.
