Peterborough musician Chris Culgin is releasing a new album It's Only Time June 5th, with the launch party that night at The Gordon Best Theatre on Hunter Steet. The band is featured on the cover of this month's The Wire MEGAzine. Have a look at the excellent new video released in support of the album. Directed by Michael Morritt, it was filmed at locations all over town.
Jason Dunn lives in New York City—the "second greatest city in the world," he says—but wrote this song for his first love, Peterborough, the city he grew up in and to which he often returns to visit family and friends. "I love it more than a friend," Jason jokes at the beginning of the video.
Goes to show once again you can take the person out of the Peterborough, but you can't take the Peterborough out of the person. Ever.
