It's A #CanadaDay Strawberry Festival At Peterborough Downtown Farmers' Market

On July 1st from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Peterborough Downtown Farmers’ Market will be celebrating Canada Day with a special Strawberry Festival.

It's the beginning of summer and the height of strawberry season, and the perfect day for this festival.

There will be lots of strawberries for sale from vendors including McLeans Berry Farm, C. Bruni & Sons, Circle Organics, and Fishers Farm. The front market booth will have special Canada themed strawberry treats—and will be handing out samples to market-goers. Throughout, market vendors will be showcasing many ways to use and enjoy strawberries.

The Peterborough Downtown Farmers’ Market is a producers only market, which means you are buying from the very people who grow or make the products they are selling—supporting our local economy.
