Experience: A Friday Night Trying To Get Out Of The Sheriff's Office In Escape Maze

It was a Friday night and the whole gang was locked away in the Sheriff's Office. There was Sure-shot Scott, Eastbound Em', Pistol Parrington, Jail-Break Julie (aka our Julie Morris) and Hawkeye Holt (aka me, Evan Holt).

Escape Maze

Escape Maze

We knew we only had 45 minutes before the Sheriff returned to his office, so despite being locked away in two separate jail cells, we had to work together to make our escape. Our eyes darted around the room and we started finding clues (some easy to find, some not so much).

Each solved puzzle rewarded us with a clue that we used to get one step closer to the final door to our escape. Sweat started dripping from my brow. How long had it been since the Sheriff stepped out? What if he came back early? All I knew is that busting out of here would be a great tale to tell the friends over a cold drink.

Will you attempt to escape as well? Make sure to try this amazing live interactive game with friends.

I also hear "Allin's Orchard Room" is open now and another new room "The Shaft" opens on October 9th. Maybe our paths will cross and you can tell me all about your daring escape, too.

There Is A Bluesmobile Parked In Peterborough

This beauty below was photographed by Andrew Root on Lansdowne Street.

"I'm not sure of the story behind it, but it had all the The Blues Brothers details, down to the black fedora in the back window and the Illinois license plate!" Root tells PTBOCanada.

Anyone know the story behind it? Tip us.
[***UPDATE: We are told the owner of the car is Stan Hammond. Stan and his brother, Bob, often perform at events as Jake and Elwood. Their Bluesmobile is a former 1974-440 RCMP police car. They had it shipped here to Peterborough from Edmonton and then had it completely done over to be an exact replica of the cop car in the Blues Brothers movie. Also, Stan and Bob and their Blues Brothers band will be performing December 19th at the Venue.]

Fleming Students Played Bubble Soccer At Orientation & It Was A Hit

Orientation Week has begun at Fleming College, and part of the fun festivities included an epic game of bubble soccer on their beautiful new soccer fields.

Now we had never heard of this sport before but it looks awesomely fun—and just plain ridiculous—and here is a pretty good explanation of how it works.

So yes, it's like let's get dressed in ginormous plastic bubbles, try and control a soccer ball, and totally run into each other in this contact sport—and not get hurt. Because, well, we're protected by our bubble that won't burst.

It was definitely a hit—both figuratively...

...and literally. Look at this dude go airborne when his bubble was hit...

So yes, bubble soccer is the new best thing ever.

Watch more of the fun from Fleming's frosh week here in this video...
