COIN Hosting "The Mangy Moggy" Bicycle Scavenger Hunt Fundraiser For United Way

On October 15th, Community Opportunity & Innovation Network (COIN) is hosting a United Way fundraiser in the form of a bicycle scavenger hunt.

The Mangy Moggy is for avid cyclists, commuters, Sunday-afternoon-cyclists, and families. Meet at Millenium Park at 2 p.m. that day, and the hunt starts at 3 p.m. 

Sign up in teams of 4 for their Poker Run, or as an individual for the faster paced Alley Cat Race.

Head Of The Trent Is This Weekend

 

A sign that Fall is upon us is when it's time for Head of the Trent, which is held this weekend. This annual regatta was started by the founder of the Trent University Rowing Club, Chris Leach, back in 1971 and has been a much anticipated event each year since. 10th Annual Doors Open Peterborough Is This Weekend

This weekend (September 24th and 25th), local venues will have their doors open especially for you to enjoy the 10th year of Doors Open Peterborough.

This year, they have chosen a theme of "Peterborough: The Participation City," which highlights our city's keen interest in sports by showcasing many of the venues where such activities take place.

Take a look at this year's featured sites and enjoy this unique opportunity to be able to go behind-the-scenes.

Peterborough Theatre Guild Kicks Off New Season Friday Night

 

The Peterborough Theatre Guild opens their new season on Friday night with Storm Warning, a comedy/drama/mystery that takes place at a cottage on Pigeon Lake  in 1953.
